Founded in the late 90s, JS Energi is the biggest heat pump service and installation company in Sweden. Starting out as a company selling heat pumps, they launched their spare parts web shop in 2015 and now offer service and installation from their own service technicians as well. They have been a customer of DANX since 2020.

The challenge

For JS Energi, a leading heat pump industry expert with its own fleet of service technicians, ensuring rapid repairs was critical. Beyond customer comfort, delayed repairs posed a significant risk of bursting pipes, leading to leaks and extensive home damage, especially during crucial winter months. JS Energi recognised that the time spent by technicians picking up or waiting for spare parts was a major inefficiency, especially given their otherwise quick and digitally driven operations. As the company expanded rapidly, hiring new technicians monthly, they urgently needed a logistics partner who could resolve these time-wasting issues, reduce inventory dependency, and reliably support their ambitious growth.

DANX's solution

JS Energi chose DANX to optimise their spare parts logistics. By integrating DANX’s in-night solution, JS Energi’s technicians now receive spare parts directly to their home addresses (where their vans are located) before 7:00 AM the next morning. This eliminated the need for technicians to travel to an office for pick-ups, allowing their workday to begin the moment they leave home. This streamlined process dramatically reduced wasted time and enabled a more efficient use of their valuable resources.

The result

The collaboration with DANX has delivered transformative results for JS Energi and its customers. For the end customer, it means much shorter turnaround times for repairs and a significant increase in first-time fix rates, leading to vastly improved customer satisfaction. For JS Energi, the optimization has been a key enabler of their rapid growth. Better time management has allowed technicians to cover larger geographical areas, improving asset utilization. Furthermore, the efficiency of spare parts delivery has made recruitment of new technicians easier by offering a more streamlined and productive work environment.

In just the last two years of their partnership with DANX, JS Energi’s revenue has grown from 43 MSEK to 100 MSEK, and they have opened five new offices. This remarkable expansion, driven by DANX’s speed and reliability, has provided JS Energi with a significant competitive advantage, allowing them to continue their rapid growth trajectory, hiring 1-3 new technicians and opening 3-4 new offices every year.
